There is nothing wrong with you.
There never was.
Story Healing is a way of seeing yourself and your life — not through the lens of fear or shame or shoulds, but through the wisdom of your own Heart.

the inheritance
For most of us, life begins with training. We learn who we're supposed to be. Sometimes the lessons are spoken aloud. Sometimes they're never spoken at all.
Little by little, we learn what to do to feel loved and safe. We learn what earns approval. We learn what earns belonging and comfort. We also learn what will bring punishment, shame, and dismissal.
Without realizing it, we develop a life, and an identity, around what works for us.
The Should Story.
We inherit a whole Should Story, telling us what to do and who to be. Some parts of our Should Story serve us well. Give us direction. Help us survive. But some become prisons.

In time, we feel … off. It may be that we don't feel we belong in the world. We may feel stuck, or frustrated. We may feel depressed. We keep asking, "What's wrong with me?"
What if the problem isn't that there's something wrong with you at all? What if you've just been living inside stories that no longer fit you — if they ever did?
That can change everything, because you aren't the Should Story that shaped you. You're also not the Systems and Roles and Agreements that came with it. And when you can see the Story outside yourself, you have the power to question it — and choose something different.

Story Healing isn't about fixing yourself. It isn't about becoming someone new. It isn't about striving to become "better."
Story Healing is seeing clearly enough to choose freely.
As you begin to recognize the Stories that have shaped your life and your sense of who you are, you also begin to remember another part of yourself: the quiet wisdom of your own Heart.
